I absolutely LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! The beginning of the book was very fast paced, and had me hooked from the first chapter. I was Team Jaxon from the beginning. I love how much he loves, and cares for Grace. When he finally opened up to her I melted. Jaxon just puts himself under so much pressure when he doesn’t need to, and having Grace really helps him. When he shared what happened to Hudson I think that allowed him to be more vulnerable and share the weight he has been carrying. Honestly, Grace needs Jaxon, and Jaxon needs Grace. END OF STORY! I think Flint had good intentions, but I’m sure there was a better way to solve the whatever issues there was then to almost kill Grace. She did not deserve to be lied to like that. Especially from Lia. Lia is actually crazy. I’ve read about characters doing some crazy stuff ( Coriolanus Snow; Hunger Games, and from the Divergent series ), but that was some wired stuff. I get that she wanted to bring Hudson back, but Hudson was crazy too. Maybe that’s why she liked him so much. The end blew my mind though. Just when I thought everything was okay Grace is now some type of gargoyle because Hudson came back from somewhere, so she sacrificed herself for Jaxon! Like WHAT!?!?!! Anyway…….. I can’t wait to read the next book.
